Seeing Red

I find digging in my inventory to see what hidden gems I have kinda fun, and I did find a couple things. 

Everything I have on has been in my inventory for awhile, but it's all pretty cute. The top is a very old (as in, three years old) Loordes of London former hunt gift called the Suffolk Corset. Because it's not mesh, I wanted to use it to fit underneath the pants I have on. The Pecq Down Under pants, however, are still available in the Loordes mainstore (in various colors) for about $50L.

My jewelry came from Amorous and is among my favorite sets to use, called eternal. Although you can't change the metal option, the gems are customizable. Sadly, I couldn't find it in the store. I did find it on the marketplace, so you can still get it there.

My skin is a special offering from WoW Skins (and a new one) called Fionora, which is available at the Designer's Circle for $99L in different shades. (I think I look a little scared here..... The light is so bright!)

Finally, my shoes are the current group gift offering from Hilly Halaan. The gift is free and so is the group, so it's an easy one to go and pick up.

Il Dolce Suono

So, after I saw this outfit, I knew I just had to buy it. The Fifth Element is one of my favorite nostalgia movies. And in honor of it, here's the youtube of the song (Il Dolce Suono) performed during the movie. (My readers will soon come to learn I am a giant geek....)

Anyway!

While some of the items I have on I've blogged about before, my focus is the awesome Leeloo dress I have on, made by DRBC. The white alone is $100L at the Suicide Dollz Anniversary.  You can get a $200L fatpack of other colors as well (but it doesn't include the white). If I wanted to be a true movie purist, I would have been shoeless.... but I like my shoes. Maybe later. 

Now, this outfit has nothing to do with The Fifth Element, but I wanted to share another offering from DRBC from the event. The dress is called Eve and there's a couple different design options. It's also available for $100L at the event.

This is probably the closest to London I am going to get for awhile, so here I am at the London City sim, taking in the sights!

My dress, heels, and jewelry came from Loordes of London. And since red is my favorite color, I had to put it all together. The bracelet is the Advent Calender gift for today (Day 3), so it will be gone soon. However! There are other options to choose from within the store. My dress is also available in-store for a mere $50L.

These adorable heels however are a Feeb's Rascal offering from Loordes, available in a few colors for $55L at the event.

Along with a closeup of the Advent Gift, I am also showing you a closeup of the beautiful skin by WoW skins, called Tilda. Fingernails

This is another store first for me, and it's a post entirely dedicated to nails! I recently acquired some nails from K-Pie Designs that I feel like sharing. All of these styles are meant for slink hands.

First up, we have the sailor nails in pink. These nails come with four different options - pink, blue, and a combo of each for the other two styles.

 This set is called Moon and actually comes with six design options - all of which are the various phases of the moon. I'm using the full moon here simply so you can see it the best.

Pitty Love comes with four design options and, as you guessed, are decorated with tiny black pitbulls. (Which I find super cute.)

 Finally, we have the Classy Lady set. They come in white, gold, and two different combinations of each. The little design is a silhouette of a Victorian era woman with an umbrella. 

The choker I am wearing is also by K-Pie Designs, called faith. It's nice and simple, perfect for adding a piece but not wanting to bling yourself out.

Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

I actually skipped over another blog post to post this one because I finally had the perfect set up for it. It's December, the snow is falling. It's perfect!

I'm wearing a gorgeous wintery creation from SKBW that I am glad I finally get to show off. The winter outfit is available in-store for $649L and is available in a few different colors, including white with blue and pink! I'm wearing the silver here. Unfortunately, the pant legs covered them up too much for me to get a good shot, but you can get my shoes as a $99L fatpack at Hilly Halaan. They're called Alia and come with several different colors (not hud controlled like many of her other creations). They're a simple strappy shoe that looks quite nice with a lot of things.

My skin is a new 7 deadly s{k}ins release called Winter, which is available in three different versions for $250L a piece at the Frozzen Fair. This particular version is version 2, which I chose because I happen to love the eye makeup. My jewelry is the newest Lazuri group gift release that you can pick up after joining the group from the main store. It comes with the choker, the earrings, and bracelets that are all hud driven. I loved the way it matched the decoration of my jacket.

The Dream of the 90s is Alive in Portland

I know, I know. It's a cheesy song, but considering I took a walk around the Portland, Oregon sim (called the Portland Connection) while doing my shoot, I just had to do it. (If you've never been there, as an Oregon native, I have to say it's pretty darn cool.) This also my first blog covering items from Loordes of London, which is a store I have always loved and I'm excited.

The cute little dress I have on is the Pinjore Dress currently on sale at Fr*Friday. The color I have on is Blackberry Gold/Pink, but there are other color choices available as well.

The bag I am carrying is also available at Fi*Friday from Loordes of London, and is located over in the accessory section. The heels are Loordes as well, but were a previous Fi*Friday offering. They were just too cute to pass up sharing.

Normally I don't mention my eyes, but these were just too cool. They're a $100L set available from Redgrave (that also come with some eyelashes!). They're so close to my RL color, I just had to have them. Finally, my earrings come from Loordes of London and are available for just $100L at the L'Accessories showcase.

Snake Charmer

Long overdue is my shout out to more of SKBW's Zinti and her creations. Today I bring you two fun releases.

This first dress, more like a long jacket than a dress, is called Rattlesnake and can be found in her shop for $399L. You can get also get it in silver and bronze, although what I have on here is the black. 

 The back of the dress is decorated with this little

decal here. Also, a close up of my earrings. These are called Dangled, and you can get them in the Amorous store for just $99L. Like the rest of her creations, they come with a color changing script, so you can make them other metal colors.

 This second dress is from the Urban collection, and this one happens to be "Graffiti." Others include Chevrolet, Times Squared, and Desconstruct. They're all available in store, so check it out. 

My shoes, called Wrapped Up, are high feet slink shoes and are still available in-store at Like Designs as a free gift for joining the SL F&O group. The joiner is right by the shoes, so it's easy to access.

Finaly, in all the photos I am wearing what is going to be one of SKBW's newest releases, called Rula. My version happens to be eyebrowless, so I am wearing my brows from my Curio - Ice Queen set. It's a gorgeous skin, so it's well worth the money.

Short Skirt/Long Jacket

I hit up the last round of Suicide Dollz specifically for this coat. I'll freely admit that. I love leather and trench coats. So two-in-one bonus for me!

 

Now, the name of this coat I so obviously had to have is Nothing but Trench by DRBC. And that's all it is. A coat. And I love it. 

Underneath I used ISON's half bustier to cover some of my cleavage. For fun, I added Squirries Owksha tattoo, which is also available at Suicide Dollz currently.

The jewelry I have on is, shock surprise, from Amorous. Suki is partial mesh set with a color changer hud, so you can make it gold or silver.  I have to mention the hair because of the tweaks I made - the style is Kelly from RunAway Hair. The hairbase I have on with it is actually from another one of their styles, but I tinted it to match. Kelly actually comes with a shaved head hairbase that's tintable.

Finally, my awesome heels came from Hilly Halaan - They're called Hera, and for just $175L, you get these awesome shoes and a color change hud that lets you change them to whatever color your heart desires.

The desire for something shiny and pretty reared it's ugly head again, so off I went to Lybra.

Meu Amor, Meu Amorino

So, I thought I'd start of by saying - I am not wearing shoes for this shoot. In RL, I despise wearing shoes and thought.... "Well, you can't see them. FREEDOM!"

Anyway.

This gorgeous dress is called Dreaming in Color. The color pallate is "Abyss," which is a limited edition shade put out by The White Armory until so many are sold (I believe it was 100). I am a sucker for their gowns -and- for anything labeled "limited edition," so I had to get one.

The headpiece came from the current round at the Fantasy Collective and is called the Ella Circlet from Pekka. I thought it went well with the neck piece designed for the dress. 

The hair is from Truth, called Hater, and my skin (Alyx) is currently on sale at Pink Fuel.

Celebrity Skin

I've been away for awhile due to RL and pregnancy-related illness, so I thought I would do a quick post to catch you all up on some of 7 Deadly Skins' offerings and show you this super cute bikini that's been hiding in my inventory (which sadly, I couldn't find again).

 

In order of appearance, I have on four lovely offerings from 7 deadly s{k}ins - The Mariella skin, and the group gifts from September, October, and November. The Temple of Poseidon

I'm going to share a few of my recent findings for August 2014's Collabor88 , which is themed around all things Greek.

Seeing as all I changed was the dress between the two outfits, my description should be easy!

Cherry Bomb

I discovered some great sales at the Cosmopolitan Sales Room, both from the previous round and current one, so here's a little of what I picked up*.

This slinky red number is called the SS dress, a CSR offering from *Aphrodisiac*, I've paired it up with Esssenz's Athens shoes in Black, heels for Slink's mid feet. My earrings are one of my gacha wins from [[masoom]]'s main store gacha, called Love Sick. You'll find all her gacha machines off to the left as you first teleport in.

 

This pink dress is Kaithleen's offering called Hipster Girl, this one is in pink. My jewelry is yet another Amorous offering, called Antiquarian. This set has a ton of different color and metal options, so you'll have plenty of  customization options. My shoes are Essenz as well, called Rhodes.

This blue top is called Degrade, [orage]'s CSR offering. I've paired it up with the Athens shoes again and a pair of skinny jeans I had in my inventory.

At the behest of a friend, I hit up the Fantasy Gacha Carnival (which runs through the beginning of September,) and grabbed a few things. There's some beautiful items currently for sale, so give spin the wheel of chance and see what you find!

I adore this blue Pirate Wench number from Alchemy, matched up with 7 deadly s{k}ins fair offering titled Wrath. The skull necklace is Alchemy as well, but the earrings are a $50L offering from ieQED called Pirate Pieces of Eight.

This violet number is the Princess of the East dress offered at $50L per spin from ][Murdoch Inc][. The skin is another 7 dead s{k}ins gacha offering, this time the rare Patience. The jewelry is from .Enfant Terrible., at $100L a spin. You get a chance for a headdress, a rare wand, a necklace, or a nose chain in three different colors.

I spent some time at the Aloha Fair, so I thought I would share the lovely items I picked up on my visit.
It ends today unfortunately, so you need to act fast to pick up any of these items shown here or the various other lovely offerings the fair has out.

This dress is called the Black Ahoy Knotted dress by *PS*. For $39L a spin, you have a chance of winning this short mesh dress from their gacha machine. I'm wearing .:WoW:.'s Aloha Fair gift skin with it, which is a lovely pale shade called Didy.

 

This second dress is also from the *PS* gacha machine, but is a rarer spin called Summer White Plant Colored. With it I'm wearing the GAALL gift sandals, only $1L! This lovely dark skin is an Aloha Fair exclusive from 7 deadly s{k}ins called Abby V1. It offers a great contrast against the bright dress with the deep tones of the skin.

The blue sandals on the left I'm wearing above. However, I just had to share these red heels from Essenz Gacha machine. Both pairs are Slink compatible, so keep this in mind when getting them!
